Carolyn Sue Eifert, age 76, of Albuquerque, NM, suddenly passed away on April 17, 2022, while visiting her daughter in League City, Texas. She was a devout Christian woman, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved the Lord! She selflessly served as a bible study teacher for Sunday schools, Youth detention center, Ruidoso Downs Chapel Ministry, etc. She has served in women shelters. She served as a senior chaplain for the Billy Graham Association for disaster relief, Samaritan Purse, the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC), Grief Support at Calvary ABQ. She loved to be a hairdresser on the side! She has touched the lives of so many!
She was born in American Fort, Utah to Arthur and Virginia Shearer on July 13, 1945. She was raised in Sunray, Texas and married Don Eifert in 1962. She is survived by her 3 children: Gary Eifert (son), Denise Eifert (daughter), and Brenda (daughter) and Louis Haden (son-in-law). She had 9 grandchildren: Ashley and Marty Giron, Andrea Seelbinder, Shaunda Wegener, Terra Houston, Michael Houston, Heather Houston, Lauren and Dylan Long, and Austin Eifert. She also had 7 great grandchildren: Emma, Abigail, Shaun, Parker, Melody, Liora, and Madelyn.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, starting with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. and a closed casket service at 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Reception will follow at the same location. At approximately 2:00 p.m. the interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
