Carl Richard Allen

Carl Richard Allen, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2018. He was a long-time resident of Bosque Farms. Richard was preceded in passing by his mother Darlena. He’s survived by his daughters, Krystal (Tyler) Thorpe of Bloomfield, and Kassidy (Donnie) Shorter of Aztec; and 6 grandchildren. He’s survived by his father, Carl Ray Allen of Bosque Farms; his 3 sisters, Jackie (JD) Rayburn of Los Lunas, Susan (James) Gibson of Ruidoso, and Pamela (John) Miller of Farmington. As well as many nieces and nephews; and his favorite Aunt Shirley of Byers, CO. Richard attended school in the South Valley and Rio Grande High. He graduated from Los Lunas High School where he played football. He loved car racing and particularly NASCAR. He attended diesel school in Denver but chose truck driving as a profession. He spent many years as an over the road driver and retired after 30 plus years due to injury. Cremation will take place after a Private Viewing. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Bosque Farms, 1635 Bosque Farms Blvd, Bosque Farms, NM 87068.
