Bobbie Jean Madole, 89, passed away August 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home.
Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Carol Torres, and Shirley Madole; her grandchildren; Torre Stobb, Derek Torres, Travis Stobb and Jason Torres; her sisters, Jimmie Nunnally, and Joan Murry; and many other family and friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Madole; her parents, Charles and Ruth Alford; and her siblings; Charles Jr. Alford, Bill Alford and Jackie Alford.
Bobbie was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and was active in the Rebecca's. For many years, Bobbie was a member of the Duke City Bridge Club. She was an avid Bridge player and she could not wait for the next Wednesday to roll around - she loved the game, but even more, she really loved getting to spend time with her friends once a week. Bobbie was always selfless in service to others in need.
Bobbie was a devoted wife and mother throughout her life. She enjoyed spending many weekends at their family cabin near Chama, New Mexico at El Vado Lake. Bobbie enjoyed fishing there with her husband and playing many different games with her girls. Bobbie always put her family first. She was the sweetest and most caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will truly be missed. A Public Viewing will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
