Bobbie Joe Gossett

Our beloved Bob Gossett, 87, passed in his sleep on Monday, January 17, 2022. He is dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob was born Saturday, January 26, 1935. Bob graduated from Albuquerque High School, worked for the Air National Guard, then he joined the family business, Gossett Construction Co. He retired in El Vado, New Mexico, and came back to Albuquerque during his later years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kaye; daughters, Toni and her husband, Billy Martin and their daughter, Abigail, Kathryn and husband, Richard Cozad, Cheryl and husband, Dick Myers, and Rhonda and husband, Doug Henys; brother, Russell and wife, Judy Gossett; sister, Lynne and husband, Billy Cundiff; nephews, Clay and wife, Tracy Gossett, Joel and wife, Laura Gossett, Dean Gossett, Michael and wife, Kathy Roberson, and Steve Roberson; niece, Laurie Roberson; grandson, Michael and wife, Melissa Kontz; dear friend, Kim Lee; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, Bill and Nadine Gossett, brother, Dale Gossett; son, Aaron Gosset; sister, Robin Gossett; and loving friend Berto Smith.

A Celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at St John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona St. NE.
