Arthur Lujan, 30, beloved son, brother and father was called to his eternal resting place on July 18, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Darlene Lujan, father Pete F. Lujan; sister Megan Lujan; soul mate Brittany Sandoval; daughters Avianna Lujan, Anyka Sandoval; maternal grandmother, Helen Regensberg; paternal grandparents, Pete Lujan, and Terry Lujan; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the “Duke City Muffstains”.
Arthur graduated from Socorro High School in 2006; he worked as a machinist at EMRTEC, served in the United States Army from January 10, 2011 to May 1, 2014 as a SPC in the Infantry. He was very proud to serve his country and continued his service in the New Mexico National Guard from 2014 to 2016. He was currently working on a BA degree in Business Administration at the Anderson School of Business where he would have graduated in the fall of 2018. After graduation, he was planning on opening his own business. While attending college, he made the Dean’s list twice and was approached to have his papers published.
While enjoying his time raising his daughters, Arthur would cook and prepare his own baby food for Avianna. Arthur was an avid LA RAMS fan and enjoyed fast cars and street racing; he taught his sister Megan how to race and taught her how to play video games when she was 8 years old. Arthur enjoyed pickle juice slushies with Megan.
Arthur and Brittany enjoyed spending quality time aka “shenanigan's” together attending concerts, fishing by default, attending car shows, races, family events and spending time with friends.
Arthur lived his life in the fast lane until his daughter Avianna was born. Arthur loved taking his family cruising and hanging out with his friends.
Arthur was a very strong protector of his family; always putting their needs above his own.
Arthur was preceded in death by maternal grandfather LeRoy M. Regensberg; cousin Randi Regensberg; uncle Steve Sanders; and uncle Ruben Maldonado.
