Sepulveda, Artemio
Artemio Sepulveda, 89, beloved father, was called to his eternal resting place on May 17, 2018. He entered this world on March 20, 1929 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, born to Nicholas and Guadalupe Sepulveda. He was the youngest of 6 children. He left Puerto Rico and made New York City his home till he retired from being a chef in November 1994. At that time he and his wife Felicita moved to Albuquerque to join their daughter Evelyn and her husband Fred Bryant. They traveled with Evelyn and Fred doing many trips to the western part of the US - stopping often at Las Vegas, NV. The also enjoyed a cruise to Alaska with Fred & Evelyn. Artemio, also known to others as "Pop" love to play jokes on people, and loved listening to Latin music. Artemio was preceded in death by his wife, Felicita Perez Sepulveda. He is survived by his 3 sons; Reinaldo, Edward, and George Sepulveda; 3 daughters Evelyn Bryant (Fred); Gladys Starin (Gray); and Elba Osorio, (Pete); his 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Artemio served in the US Army from 1951 - 1952 (a Korean War veteran). A military service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
