Adela (Gallegos) Sandoval
September 25, 1918 — May 8, 2017
Adela Sandoval, loving mother and wife, passed away at the age of 98 on May 8, 2017. Adela was born in Villanueva, New Mexico September 25, 1918.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Ventura Sandoval; her children, Max Sandoval, Irene Cruz (Niam), Mary Kathy Sandoval, Tom Sandoval (Ruby), Paul Sandoval (Rosa) and Bennie Sandoval, Jr. (Merlinda), as well as 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her baby son, Gilbert, and by her grandson, Dominic Sandoval.
Adela lived a full life and was especially proud of her family.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside. Mass will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph’s Drive NW in Albuquerque, followed by entombment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
